MAP Toolkit Forms
Access to the Map Network Toolkit- The Arts Education
Program Toolkit, A Visual and Performing Arts Program Assessment
Process, developed by the first 14 districts in the MAP Network and now
used throughout the state, provides a clear planning process toward
implementation of a comprehensive visual and performing arts program.
The process begins by first assessing and evaluating what currently
exists and then identifying the continuum of successive steps needed
for future implementation. The Toolkit features a self-assessment
questionnaire and inventory, a Program Quality Indicators matrix, an
Arts Education Program Implementation Continuum, and written report and
action planning templates.
The Toolkit is available, in hardcopy form, for $13.25 (plus shipping and handling) through the California Department of Education, CDE Press Sales Office at 800-995-4099 or visit CDE Press online.
The Toolkit is available, in online
form, by becoming a MAP Associate Member. Visit the California Alliance
for Arts Education website and go to the MAP Associate Member section.
