UC/CSU Admission RequirementsTThe University of California and the California State University systems have revised admission requirements to include a year of visual and performing arts. The new entrance requirements will apply to entering freshman students in Fall 2003. UC has created a new website for those wishing information on aligning high school courses in the arts to these new requirements. This interactive guide can be found at http://www.ucop.edu/doorways. This “Doorways” web site allows easy access to the three UC sites related to the "a-g" subject area requirements: (1) the course list site, (2) the a-g guide site, and (3) the online update site. From this site, one can view the “What's New” items which report any changes or reminders regarding the course list update process. An additional feature links the Doorways home page to FAQ, Related Links, and Contact Us pages.
